About Lisa

Lisa Loucks Christenson is a national award-winning author and photographer; a national speaker; host of Lisa's Walk the Talk Show™now in its sixth season; president of eCompass Business Center & Alarm, her 26 year old fulfillment center; and publisher of Lisa Loucks-Christenson Publishing, established in 2005, featuring her wildlife documentaries, her Bow Wow Detectives®, Meow Meow Detectives™, Wolves of Whitewater Falls™ series; children's books, YA, and the fictional works of numerous authors, both fiction and non-fiction.

Lisa's wildlife gallery and bistro, White Wolf Creek™ www.WhiteWolfCreek.com, and her recording studios are located in Rochester, Minnesota. Her photos and writings appear regularly in books, magazines, trade journals, and when she is not in the field gathering images and stories, she is speaking and sharing her knowledge.

Lisa's diverse background includes positions working in publishing, media, sales, advertising, graphic design, Web design, database design, business management, marketing, PR, the Dept. of Natural Resources, natural sciences, communications, as well as over forty years of photography selling stock or shooting on assignment image specific requests for most publishers. 

Lisa's career includes conducting interviews with people from all "walks of life". Those closest to her say she's a walking magnet to those with a story to share. Lisa can open hearts with her words, but she can fill the fields with stories of those wanting to be heard.

Lisa has won several writing awards and has won numerous awards for her photography. Lisa has been featured on radio, newspapers, and television for her wildlife documentaries.  Her Winter Bugs Exhibit, and Lisa's Bald Eagle documentary have been featured at the National Eagle Center, and appeared on television, area news stations, magazines, newspapers, and on exhibit at both her galleries. Her first edition Winter Bugs book sold out, and a second edition is to be released spring 2012.
